Certification Process

• Step 1: Complete a state-approved EMT-Paramedic training program
• Step 2: Apply for the EMT-P certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
• Step 3: Pass the EMT-P certification exam
• Step 4: Maintain certification by completing continuing education requirements and adhering to NREMT regulations
