• Educational requirement can be waived if the candidate has an active CISSP-ISSMP or CISSP certification, and at least 10 years experience from various professional areas, like 2 years of non-continuous ISSMP specialization work experience, in the areas of Management and Advanced Security and Operations (one (1) year for each 5 (5) years of the additional 5 years of experience).

Certification Process

• Submit an application to (ISC)² to attempt the exam.
• Pass the CISSP-ISSMP exam by scoring at least 700 on a scale of 100-1000 and completing the certification process as directed by (ISC)².
